Think INK #30

Good Morning!

Did you miss me yesterday? I've been busy, busy,

busy! Like craZy busy! My post today is for the

Think INK #30 challenge over at Artful INKables!

This is a fun one! The challenge is to create a ATC. 

I didn't even know what an ATC was! I called on my

go ole buddy Olga.... I knew she would know what it

was! Artist Trading Card duh! I used the Top Dog set

for my cards! This is a great set of 12 fun stamps... and it's

on clearance. How can you beat it? I love the different dog

images ( I'm a dog lover).

Aren't they just the cutest? Super fun to color! Be sure

and pop over to Artful INKables and play along. We are

also having a blog hop tomorrow. You'll want to be there...

all kinds of fun surprises ! On another note , my blog has

been chosen as the blog of the month at Art Crafting Making

Peaceful Wishes

Good Tuesday Mornin !

I hope this post finds everyone out there in cyber

space well today! Looks like we are going to have

a beautiful fall day here in our neck of the woods!

Yesterday was like the perfect day... sunny, mid

70`s,just perfect! Today is my day to post for 

Artful INKables! 

I love how this card turned out! I used Peaceful Wishes

for this card. It was quick and simple to put together! I

made this card for the HEART to HEART card drive.

I have a friend who is the sole care giver for her mom who

   is stricken with Alzheimer's disease.  This card drive is an 

effort to thank the silent victims---those who work every day

so that someone they love (and sometimes someone they 

don’t even know well) can survive another day.One lucky

person will win $1000 in prizes ! Pass it along and give the

heroes who are caregivers a big Thank You!

Magical Monday!

Good Morning!

Today is my last post for Magical Monday! My time as

as designer for Paper Cupcakes has come to an end! It

has been great fun working with Nina and her cute images!

This cute image from Paper Cupcakes is called Autumn Solitude.

I colored her with copics and added some glitter to her wings. The

pumpkins were made 3 dimensional with crystal effects. All paper is

One Layer Wednesday !

Good Morning!

I have 2 cards to share with you today!

My gdaughter Taeler spent the evening with

me and we created cards for the OLW21

challenge. We are to be inspired by nature!

First Taeler's card

Taeler used the classic lovely as a tree for her focal image.

I think she did a great job!

My card is pretty simple too! We had lot's of

fun creating these. Taeler is joining our craft

club and think she will be a huge asset!

All Boxed Up!

Good Morning to You!

I have another boxed set to share with you today!

I got the tutorial at the same place: Stamping Pro.

This gal has a host of wonderful tutorials! I can see

me using several of them! This next set uses the level

1 hostess set Because I Care.

This set was much quicker to assemble! It's also a set of 

6 cards w/envelopes! That's it for today!

All Patched Up!

Good Morning!

I have a gift set to share with you today! I'm making up

a few sets for friends for Christmas. I found the tutorial

for this set here.  

My set includes 6 cards w/envelopes. I think this will make

a nice gift for one of my co-workers. I've made patchwork

projects before and really enjoy putting them together.

Peaceful Wishes

Good Morning!

Well it's back to work for me today!

I didn't get anything done really on my

time off... just celebrated with my sisters!

Usually I have chores to do on days off but

this time I just simply enjoyed doing nothing!

It's Tuesday and that means it's time for my

Artful INKables post!

This card was pretty simple! I dug out my brayer

and a few sponges to create the scene! My focal

image and sentiment are from Peaceful Wishes. This

could be mass produced fairly quickly! That's it for me

MIA

Did anybody miss me? I lied when I said we weren't doing anything

for vacation! Remember when my little sis had her BD in July?

Well she and her DH were working out of town at the time. Since

the BD was a mile stone her daughter had a surprise BD party for

her when she got home to southern Idaho!

Her we are at the party! Carol (the BD girl) is on your

far left, Terri is in the middle and I am in the red! We were

having way to much fun! Well we got home this morning

about 10 AM and I'm beat! See you tomorrow with TMITA!

Day 2 of Vacation!

Good Morning!

Well it's day 2, I was going to wash windows....

but it's raining :0) Guess I'll stamp! I had a totally

lazy day yesterday... I am so NOT ready for retirement!

My card today is made with another Bugaboo image.

This little guy is called Christmas Scamp. Is he not the cutest?

I colored him with copics and added stickles to make him sparkle!

My dp is from a mat stack. This will be one of my gkids Christmas

card. Well I have the rest of the day what to do... what to do!

Day 1 of Vacation!

Well Good Morning!

Do you think I would be able to sleep in just

a little.... HECK NO! Hot flash's do not go on

vacation... Yep right on time at 4:00 AM :(

I have been working on this card for about a 

week. I used one of the Bugaboo images I won.

Shelby Cobra is this images given name!

This is for my gson who turns 9 tomorrow! That is sooooo

hard to believe! It took a week to create because I used 

crystal effects on Shelby to make him shine!  I used dazzling

diamonds on the stripe and around the sentiment. I wanted the

sentiment to look like it is in lights!

Artful INKables Think INK 29

Good Evening!

It's official.... I am on VACATION, YAY!

I am off work until next Tuesday. We aren't

going anywhere, which is OK I don't have to 

work anywhere for 6 days! It's time for another

challenge at Artful INKables. This week Jackie

sets the challenge, she has given us 3 color choices

Red & Green ~ Yellow & Purple ~ Blue & Orange

I chose Blue and Orange and the Spot on Summer

stamp set. 

This CAS card took all of about 8 mins. to create!

The Spot on Summer is a super fun set... great images!

Bugaboo...

Good Morning!

Magical Monday

Good Magical Morning!

It's Monday and that means another challenge at

Paper Cupcakes. This week Melanie sets the challenge.

She has given us an awesome sketch to use with any

acquired image from Paper Cupcakes.

I used partly sunny as my focal image ... the picture isn't
showing the colors properly, really they do match! This is
a fun image, it can be used for any occasion!I am entering

Sweet Sunday Morning!

Well good morning to all my wonderful cyber friends! 

Can you believe I'm here on a weekend? I know what

a  surprise! I only have a few chores and get to play ALL

day! I'm not even getting dressed ^/^ LoL! My card today

is for the Sweet Sunday Sketch.

As usual I didn't follow the sketch completely! My card base

is very vanilla layered with dp from the mat stack the other

Patty S. sent me.... Thanks GF! I used punched posies and 

heard from the heart for my stamped images.I love the freshness

 of this card. Hope the rest of my stampin day goes as well as

this card did!

black and white with a spot of color!

I used live like you mean it for my entire card. It's

pretty plain but I like how it turned out!

Running LATE!

Good Morning!

This will be a quick post... running late today.I used cherry cobbler

as my card base layered with very vanilla and early espresso. I then

pulled out the love letters dp. The only stamping done is the sentiment

from well scripted. Pretty quick and simple, Love how it turned out though!

Mojo 155

Can you believe this 2 post 2 days in a row! Crazy I tell ya!
I haven't played the Mojo challenge in weeks! It's so nice to
be home on a Monday and have nothing else to do but stamp... it's a sad state of affairs but somebody has to do it!
Ok onto my card... the base is whisper white layered with holiday lounge dp.. My snowflake is from serene snowflakes and is embossed with iridescent ice EP. It's a little non-traditional for Christmas... but it works for me!

Good Magical Monday!

Happy Labor Day!
Does anyone ever wonder why we don't have
to labor on Labor Day? It should be called no
Labor Day! Hee Hee! I don't have any chores
at all to do today YAY! It's Monday and that
means it's Magical Monday time! Nilla brings us
the challenge this week and she has a recipe. 
You will need to use any Paper Cupcakes image
and use the following recipe to make your project

  Recipe:

   1 ribbon
                        2 embellishments (rhinestones, pearls, brads...)

 3 DPs
       4 flowers

My card base is bashful blue layered with delicate dots DP.

My focal image is dog gone it from Paper Cupcakes. My 1

ribbon is folded in half. I have 4 flowers layered and 2 brads

to finish them off. My 3 DP's are obvious! This  cute little image

is colored with copics . Pop over the TMITA and

play along... we would love to see what you come up with!

Well Hi again!

Can you believe I have 2 posts in 1 day? I know

I'm totally surprised too! Actually I wanted to play

the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge... I've not played

this one for a very lonnnnng time! 

My card base is bashful blue layered with crumb cake

and dp from a mat stack a dear friend sent me! Patty Sue

 at Ink it Up  and I met on Stamp TV. We clicked I think

because my name is Patti Sue too! Besides the other Patty

Sue is just cool! Ha I made a rhyme! Anyhoo this card was

purely so I could cut into the beautiful paper  the other Patty S sent me!

Merry Christmas,,, I mean Labor Day!

Good Morning!

I get to play with paper today :))))) My house work is done,

banana bread is baking and the laundry is goin! YAY!

I did a quick card of OLW 18 just to get my juices flowin!

My focal image is from patterned pines and the sentiment

is from heard from the heart. I stamped my image in early

espresso. I then stamped is in marina mist, and embossed

with iridescent ice EP. Popped up the middle tree and there

you have it! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

It's FINALLY Thursday!

Good Morning To YOU!

I hope all is well with my friends out there in cyber

space! Life here is pretty busy! Both of my kids have

been moving and guess who gets to help! Yep Mom aka

moving company! Fortunately with my work schedule I didn't

have to do any heavy stuff.. just lot's of small trips :0) My card 

today is another Artful INKables creation.  This is another CAS

card created by the technique Heather used. Such a great technique!

So guess what happens when you don't get you post done
at home and plan to do it while working. Your image is on
the computer at home! Soooo I am posting this evening! My
card base is Gina K pl white. I used really rust, so saffron and
ruby red to sponge my background. The images are from Plant
Prints... love this set!

What CAS AGAIN????

Good Morning!

I had a strange awaking this morning. First I have to 

tell you I made a card last night for what I thought was

OLW. I had seen a card of Susan's and thought it was

her challenge. I awoke thinking today was Thursday :0)

So running thorough my head was WOW this week is going

really fast.... then I realized TODAY is Wednesday.... OH MY!

So here is my card for the CAS82 challenge, LOL! Today is only

Wednesday......... Man this week is dragging!

I used Tart and Tangy for my focal image. My limes were

heat embossed with iridescent ice EP.
