Rose Challenge Mono Mellow Yellow!

Good Morning!
It's the last Sunday of the month and you know what that means! Yep it's time for the Rose's challenge. I am the lucky Rose to set the challenge this month.... my choice is a birthday monochromatic card. I don't know what it is lately but I just love yellow! I think it's from not seeing the bright yellow sun for soooo long! My card has a very simple design. My base is barely banana layered with embossed barley banana. My focal image is upsy daisy stamped with so saffron on whisper white layered on barley banana! My ribbon is so saffron too..... it's a ray of sunshine I tell ya! Sleepless in Pinehurst!

Good Morning!
I have been awake since min-night.... wt-heck! I finally gave up and made coffee, decided if I was going to be awake I want to be WIDE awake (0; My craft room is to close to our bed room to go play.... DH is snoring away! Ok enough whining! Onto my card... anther fun image from the other Patty Sue. I actually get to meet this sweet lady in June. She lives near my sis Terri. Patty has graciously offered to give us some much needed tips on coloring with copics..... can hardly wait! Anyhoo my card base is bashful blue layered with whisper white and dp I can't remember the name of  )-; I could go look but like I said DH is snoring away... yes I can hear him clear out here in the living room! I think I've rambled enough, need more coffee! Off to check out all your lovely blogs and drink more coffee... Have a great day!

Good Morning!
Today  Sue shares a birthday with my grand daughter! Be sure and pop over and tell Sue Happy Birthday! My gdaughter is 11 today! She has beautiful big eyes like the super cute image! There is a lot of sparkle on this card.... right up Kimmie's alley! The paper has sparkle, the flower has sparkle, and the eyes have glitter on them.... it just doesn't show with the picture!

I used the negative from my nestie cut out for the inside.
I thought the whole thing turned out pretty cool! I'm sure Kimmie will love it. Happy Birthday Sweetie.... And Sue Happy Birthday to you sista Rose!

 I hope all is well with you today! We are getting SNOW and tons of it! Then into the deep freeze we go.... UGGGGGGH! My card today was a really simple one, I let the paper do all the work! My card base is whisper white layered with basic black and dp from a mat stack! I then added a simple punched sentiment , border and some black pearls WHA-LA!

Hope you had a great weekend! I did... I colored all day yesterday! I was determined to improve my technique! First I looked all over the net at all the talented ladies incredible work. My fav is the other Patty Sue! Must be the name LOL! Patty Sue 2 gave a bunch of images and I really wanted to use them.... hence the coloring! Thanks Patty!

Good Morning!
Yesterday was my baby boy's BD! He's not much of a baby at 32! He is a hard core motorcycle guy! He loves everything with just two wheels (0; Since this is a "man" card it is pretty clean and simple! Actually I'm pretty happy with this one... my mojo has been on vacation and doesn't want to come back! I think if spring would get here it would come with it LOL! Anyhoo... my card base is crumb cake layered with basic black and embossed crumb cake. The image is a single stamp available from SU. The sentiment is unknown.That's it for today.... I hope to play all weekend and get my mojo flowin! Have a great day!

Well our rain turned to lots of snow yesterday! We can no longer see the grass! It is supposed to snow all day )0; My card was created using all scraps, except for the pearls LOL! The sentiment ,flower,flourish and ribbon were laying in my junk pile on my desk. The card stock and dp are SU. Short and sorta sweet today... need to go exercise and get ready for work! I hope all is well out there in cyber space! Unfortunately I need another sympathy card. Boy I tell ya... the older you get it seems the more of these you need. Our local barber was killed while snowmobiling  in our beautiful mountains. Silhouette stamps are always great for this type of card! On a brighter note it's 40' and pouring rain (0; Spring is so around the corner! I am entering this in a few challenges!

Happy Valentines Day!

Good Morning!
I hope you're having a great Valentines Day!  I have to tell you about my day yesterday... well the night before last we had a HUGE wind storm. It was actually pretty cool! Well when that happens my neighbors pine tree creams our yard. We have our house up for sale soooo it needs to be neat and tidy, including the yard! I actually RAKED my back yard (0; Can you believe it on FEB 13th I raked my yard... un-heard of I tell ya! Well my mojo went on vacation W/O me... seriously! I started this card for the Annabelle say it with polka dots challenge and couldn't finish it until I saw the Mojo sketch for this week. It took just a matter of minutes to put together! Annabelle Stamps is have their Feb release tomorrow... can't wait I seriously need to buy some new stamps LOL!Well that's it for me today, tons to do and maybe I will get to play with paper this afternoon!

Did you miss me yesterday? I had a card .... just didn't get it posted )0; One of those days! I've decided if I can't get spring outside I will make it in my cards! This card came together pretty quick. My card base is whisper white layered with old olive and melon mambo. My focal panel is stamped from punched poises. I used lots of dry embossing to add texture! I love how bright and cheery this is... hope it makes you smile! Have a super great day!

I have a CAS card to share with you today! Another sympathy card done with upsy daisy! My card base is pacific point layered with very vanilla and blueberry crisp dp. I stamped my image right on the dp, punched the end, added a little ribbon and sentiment... easy peasy! Have a great day!
