Light of my Life!

Good Morning!

 It's the last day of the month and you know what that means! Yep Crafter's of Faith share what they've been up to! This month the lovely Carolina is our hostess! 

This is her challenge:

1. Try to use a lighthouse in your project or something that represents LIGHT in your world/life.

2. Use at least two different scrap of designer paper.

3. Since the theme is light use some bling on your card/project.

I didn't own a lighthouse stamp so I jumped on ebay and found this awesome Inkadinka do stamp. I absolutely LOVE it! I used SU ink and blender pens to color this scene! My sentiment is from a Verve set but I don't know which one! The paper is SU scraps! EEEEK I totally forgot the bling )0= The light house depicts the light of my life... My Lord and savior! AnnaBelle Sketch Challenge!

It's time for another fun sketch challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps! We have a new designer joining us! Please welcome the ubba talented Danielle!Her work is out of this world amazing!

My card was created using my very favorite AnnaBelle set All Things Grow!This set is so versatile! It can be used for almost any occasion! Definitely  my go to set! I stamped off my image to make it look like a watermark and then stamped over it with my sentiment!

Happy Retirement!

Good Morning!

I have a cute little invitation to share today! My friend's husband is retiring after 33 yrs at one of our local mines. She need an invitation designed for the retirement party! This is what I came up with... not having any stamps mine related is opted for clip art! It worked perfectly paired with it's a date from SU! The clip art was already colored so I simply ran several off on my printer and mounted it on card stock. No embellies makes it easy to mail out several of these! That's if for me today!

OH Baby!

Good Morning!

I hope all is well in your neck of the world! I thought I would share the card I gave my niece with that cute motorcycle diaper cake! This card was inspired by my sweet friend Mary Ann's card! The banner is what got my mojo goin! I used the same KOM from Unity that Mary Ann used called heard from the soul.  My card base is bashful blue layered with certainly celery and whisper white! Th dp is from a mat stack called animal crackers. 

The sentiment on the inside is from SU occasional quotes! That's it for me today! I have to take my X~DIL for a mammogram today. Please keep her in your prayers!

Rose Sunday!

Good Sunday Morning!

I hope all is well with you! Today is the last Sunday of the month and that means the Rose's get to share what they've been up to! 

We have a rose who is MIA and want to let her know how much we love and miss her! The whole bouquet made her cards to let her know how much we care!

My card base is whisper white layered with melon mambo and more whisper white! The images are from an all time favorite set that hasn't seen ink in a very long time! Upsy Daisy is great for just about any kind of card!

Motorcycle Diaper Cake......VROOOM!

Good Morning! 

I have a super cute little motorcycle to share today! My niece's baby shower is this afternoon and this is what I made for her gift! I first saw this on Pintrest! You can find the tutorial for this and many more here! This took all of about 15 minutes to put together! So much fun and it smell like a baby! 

I think I should have used a larger stuffed animal.... oh well it is what it is! You will see more of these in my future! Now I need to get a card made! See you at the shower Carol!

Say it with Twine...

Good Afternoon!

It's time for another fun challenge with AnnaBelle stamps! Super great challenge! Wait until you see what the DT has done with this challenge.... oh my! They totally rock! You can find their links on my sidebar!

For my card I used the ubba fantastic set fanciful flowers and BBD7! My flower was created using the kissing technique ! Super fun! My card base is lucky limeade layered with early espresso and cheerful treat dp. The sentiment is also it tied on with the new dark hemp AnnaBelle twine

Good Morning!

Did you miss me yesterday? Just had way to much to do and no time to play on the computer! My little set today is our make and takes for club. I still need to put some grass and chocolate eggs in my little basket!

For the card I used punched poises and well scripted. The little basket was super easy using this tutorial! Short and sweet today! Have a good one!

Twisted Tuesday DT Call...

Good Evening!

I mentioned yesterday that there is a new challenge blog in town! Twisted Tuesday is having a DT call!

This is what the lovely Melina is asking for:

 The Challenge: Make your project with Pastel/Spring colors but incorporate black somewhere on your creation.

The Twist: (what you thought incorporating black was the twist? Ummm, NO. We get really "twisty" here at 2TC. *giggle*) Your creation must be square (no standard size A2 cards).

This was a really fun card to create! I know when people ask for pastels you think of babies or springtime cards! Well I thought of this fun image from Art Impressions! Meet Eunice! Doesn't she just look fab in her paisley blouse? The baubles on her ears and matching sunglasses totally complete this perfect outfit! I teamed this fun image with a sentiment from Creative Clear Stamps, you are old when....

The inside completes the sentiment! Did you notice how big the font is on the sentiment? Must be for those older peeps birthdays! {snicker,snicker}! 

Hope this fits the bill for Melina's requirements!

Joan''s Challenge #9

Good Morning!

I had time to play and chose Joan's challenge!

• Here are the guidelines:
• Use a recycled box, preferably round
• Color theme can be your choice

This is my finished project! I used bashful blue and bella birds dp. The label is from apothecary art! I got the flower at Hobby Lobby but don't know the maker!

Birds of a Feather....

Good Morning!

I hope you had a great weekend!  My card today is a just because card! I CASED this card! I've admired it for along time... since my little sis Carol showed it to me!

My card base is perfect plum layered with always artichoke and whisper white. The birds were done using the negative from the SU bird punch. I stamped the image from faith in nature and the sentiment is from silhouette sentiments. ALL SU!

Say it With Chocolate...

OMGosh..... I'm LATE!  I need to get with it! I had to work late!

The challenge today with AnnaBelle Stamps is Say it with Chocolate.... Yummmm!

This little jewel was super easy to create! I let the dp do all the work! My card base is crumb cake layered with dp from my scrap box! The bird house comes from the set love birds and the sentiment is from acacia. I embellished with sultana 6mm sprinkles.

Good Morning!

I hope you had a great weekend! I did... I was lucky enough to go to the Custer Craft show in Spokane. What an amazing show. So many talented people! 

My card today was created just because! Mostly scraps! My sentiment is from Verve's Asian Flair. Love that sentiment! The paper, flowers and flourish's were all in my scrap box!

This is a very CAS card for me! I love how it turned out though! My card base is whisper white layered with early espresso and whisper white again! I stamped my background with BBD6 {fav}!
