Goin Green !

Good Afternoon!
I worked 5hrs today and then went grocery shopping. When I finally got home I needed a power nap! An hour later I was ready to tackle Joan's challenge again and added a little twist! I've been wanting to play at Annabelle Stamps.... so I actually combined the challenges!

Joan's requirements:

1. Use some kind of animal, bird or whatever
2. Use a floral background paper
3. Do something that takes you out of your comfort zone
4. Use some kind of Die

Annabelle's requirements:
 1, 2, 3 Recipe!  1 Border Stamp, 2 Petals and 3 Sprinkles! My sister Sue Rose is the challenge hostess... great challenge Sue!
My card base is whisper white layered with certainly celery and dp from a mat stack. I used punched posies and flight of the butterfly for my stamped images.
I hope to play with paper most of the weekend so you may see me again! Have a great weekend!

Joan's Garden Challenge NOT!

Hi All!
Soooo I decided to play Joan's Gardens first challenge of the year.... these are the requirements: 
1. Use some kind of animal, bird or whatever
I have cute insects
2. Use a floral background paper
NO floral background paper
3. Do something that takes you out of your comfort zone
I hate to color ( out  of my comfort zone)
4. Use some kind of Die

Can you see where I messed up? NO floral paper! Guess I'll make another one tomorrow.... Any hoo my card base is whisper white layered with certainly celery and dp from a mat stack. My focal image is from a really old set called ladybug picnic. All in all it's fun and springy, but does NOT qualify for Joan's challenge :( So I guess I will be back with another card for Joan's challenge! Have a great weekend!

Hi All!
Is it spring yet? If I can't have it in the weather I'll take it in my cards! This card SCREAMS spring! My card base is very vanilla layered with baja breeze and windsor knot dp. My sentiment is from after thoughts and the the punched images are from punch potpourri! This card is all SU... right down to the pearls. It took me longer to decide what to use than it did to actually make the card... gotta love that! Have a great evening!

Big Bro's BD!

   I have a "man" card to share with you this evening! My bro's BD is coming up so I thought I should get his card done. This is all stash stuff on this card! Card base is kraft layered with always artichoke and winchester dp. The sentiment is from engraved greetings. It had never seen ink.... ribbon is from loose ends laying around.

Good Morning!

It's Monday and that means a new Mojo sketch! When I first saw the sketch I was a bit skeptical! Wasn't sure I could make it work..... guess that's why it's called a challenge! I love the fresh spring feel to this card! My card base is very vanilla layered with regal rose, very vanilla and springtime vintage dp. My sentiment is from well scripted. This is for my little sis Pam for her BD. Hope she likes it! Have tons to do today, I will be back later to visit you all!

I have a couple of New Years resoultions... I don't usually

make resoulitions, because I never keep them. Well this year

I am making it my goal to have our newly aquired medical bills

payed off in 10 months. That means very little new stamping stuff!

Thus my 2nd resoultion.... use up some of my stash! I have soooo

much! Ok onto my card. DH recieved this musical get well card. I 

couldn't toss it so I recyled it! My name twin Patty Sue did some

recycling so I thought I would follow suit! My whole card is SU, 

except for the flower and pearls. The inside mimicks the sketch! 

Well that's it for today... I have club tomorrow and I'm NOT ready!
