MOJO 102
Good Monday Morning!
I still have company.... They are still sleeping so shhhhhhh! I always wake up early and couldn't wait to see the Mojo sketch! It was a real challenge! I had to sneak into my studio and play! Do you know how loud your paper cutter is when everyone is sleeping? It screams and echoes! LOL! My card today was started on Gina K chocolate kiss luxury card stock. I layered with real red and merry moments dp. My focal image is dasher and the sentiment is from Christmas greetings. My snowflakes were cut with the cricket and in a stash! I hope to get some playtime after my company leaves!
Be sure and check here for Carol's new article in the Examiner!
Have yourself a great day!

Good Evening!
Bet your surprised to see me here this evening! I just had to post this card. The color challenge over at Stamp TV is orange, gray & white or vanilla! What a combo! I pouted all week...... just couldn't grasp the combination! Then I read the comments, I wasn't the only one who thought it would be a " challenge".... So I had to step up to the plate! LOL! I had this piece of card stock laying on my desk already embossed with the manhatten flower folder. I colored the roses with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. I really like how they turned out! I layered my Gina K luxury white on some going gray card stock and there you have it! My gray, orange and white challenge card!
Have yourself a great evening!

Good Morning!
I have to say I had a blast with my family yesterday! We had most of our kids over for dinner.... just plain fun! I haven't laughed that much in a really long time! I also haven't made that much spaghetti in a really long time! Nor have I eaten that much spaghetti in a really long time! LOL!
Well onto my card.... Geri is the host of Potluck Friday Over at Stamp Tv. The challenge is to case one of the design teams work. What fun, so much to choose from! It took longer to find the card that I wanted to case than it did to make the card. I chose this card of Asela Hopkins. She does absolutely beautiful work, as does the rest of the design team! Her card is adorable! I kept the layout , changed the color pallet and theme! Asela has a Halloween theme, mine Christmas. I used two sets from SU called Tree Trimmings and Christmas Greetings. The dp is Merry Moments. All in all a pretty simple card!
My daughter and her following will be her for a short while this morning. So I will have to play in my studio in the afternoon!
Have yourself a great day!

My card today is for the youngest of these 3! I made it quite awhile ago and was going to mail it! I have a card for each one! This card is a mish mash of stamps! I used SU's Stinkin Cute & Cute as a Bug and Scene in a Garden.... The card base is real red layered with whisper white and dp from a mat stack! I used glitter on the skunks tail! MY shapes were cut with nesties. Kylah will just love it!
Have yourself a GREAT Saturday!

Good Morning!
TGIF!!! It's been a crazy week! We are supposed to have temps near 100 today! How crazy is that! School starts next week and our summer is gone.....:( I never did understand why the kids have to go back to school just before labor day! They only go four days for the first two week of school! Sigh!
I cased this card of Ami Sheffers over at Pickled Paper Designs. If you aren't familiar with her work you should pop over there and take a look! She does gorgeous work! When I grow up I want to be as good as she is! ROTFLOL! (I will never grow up!). OK back to my card! My card base is Gina K luxury chocolate kiss, layered with very vanilla and DP from a mat stack. The Sentiment is from Verve. My buttons and lace are from my Mom in law! I cut my focal point with nesties and sponged with the die still attached.
Be sure and check out Carol's new article in the Examiner.......

I hope this finds everyone well! My card today was inspired by my friends wedding dress! Her dress was very vanilla and had certainly celery roses & chocolate chip & certainly celery leaves. What better stamps to use for roses and leaves than A Year of Flowers! LOL! Well here you go! This sketch is for the challenge over at Stamp TV.

Be sure and pop over to her page on Stamp TV and wish her a Happy Birthday!
Now onto my card! I designed this card for the technique challenge over at Stamp TV! Our main focal point is to be done with stardust pens. I don't have any stardust pens so I added my glitter with crayola glitter pens! It works ! LOL!
My main image is from Echoes of Kindness. The sentiment is from a verve set called Beautiful You. I actually colored it a while ago and couldn't get it to work! Well now it works! My card base is Gina K luxury brown, layered with hunter green and very vanilla. The DP is from a mat stack. I cut my circles with nesties. Well that's it for today!

Mojo 100 #7
Good Sunday Morning
This is a picture of the bride and groom! Aren't they just adorable! Notice I showed more of the bride than the groom! There's a reason for that! I have to say as the ceremony was in full swing all I saw was Corkey's dress! LOL! Do ya see a card? Old olive, chocolate chip and very vanilla! There will be a card in the next few days from her dress inspiration! Hee! Hee! All in all it was a fun afternoon spent with friends!
My card today is for the Mojo Monday day 7 challenge! I used a stamp from All Year Cheer . I stamped and cut out with nesties. After sponging I set out to cut all the little squares! The red layer is ridinghood red and the DP is ski slope. My ribbon is from my stash! My card base is Gina K luxury white. Just love that paper!
I have a couple of ladies to mention today! Susan over at Susans Creative Space Has bestowed on the the Kreative Blogger award! Thanks so much Susan, I am truly honored! The next sweet lady I need to mention is Victoria over at Blue Jelly Too ( I love the name of her blog!). Victoria has blessed me with the Beautiful Rose Award! This too I have received, but feel just as honored for Victoria to think of me! Thanks so much ladies.... I am truly blessed!

Saffron Flower Lines
Good Saturday Morning!
I hope today finds you all well! I have a very short
day of work! Yea! We have a wedding to go to today!
It should prove to be a fun day!
I am happy to be back to my normal routine! Now I
will have time to critique my cards before I post them!
It was great fun to get up every morning to a new Mojo
sketch.... but I couldn't hold that pace up for long! It took
up all my coffee time!LOL!
My card today is done with the set Flower Lines from SU. it
is a level 3 hostess set. I embossed each flower before mounting them on the ovals. My ovals were simply punched with SU
punches. The DP (much better than yesterday's) is from Basic
Grey. The base is so saffron. All in all a pretty simple card!

Mojo 100 #5
Good Morning!
This is my submission for the Mojo 100 sketch challenge. I think this is the last one! It has been a long week! I'm not used to being creative first thing in the morning! It's like work! ekkkkkk! As you can tell I am not at my creative best in the wee hours! I do better on the weekends! Usually I make enough cards for the week over the weekend. At least I don't have to be to work early today! LOL!
Ok,to my card! I am not totally happy with this one! It's way to busy with the DP, in my opinion! Anyhoo..... I started with Gina K black for my card base. I layered with whisper white and rich razzelberry. I thought any card made with rich razzelberry would be awesome. Boy was I disappointed! LOL! My UGLY DP is from a matt stack. The focal point is from the Verve set Beautiful You. My bow, well what can I say.... I had swollen, fat, fumbling menopausal fingers this morning! ROTFLOL!

The Miracle of Christmas!
Good Sunday Morning!
Hope all is well with you today! I am really excited! I got my first set of stamps from Gina K yesterday! Jump up and down! Whoohoo!! I bought a set designed by Melanie Muenchinger called A year of flowers . I had used the set at my big sisters house. It's way more fun having my own! So my first card with the set had to be for a challenge on Stamp TV ! It's only right after all!The challenge I chose was the Potluck Friday Challenge.
The challenge goes like this:
One-Two-Three-Four Recipe:
1 or more designer paper
2 or more different types of bling
3 or more pastel colors
4 or more layers
My card was stamped using the poinsettia from A year in flowers. I embossed with glitter EP. I added a few pearls, and stickles for my bling. The rest is pretty straight forward. The DP has the 3 pastel colors, and there are 6 layers. There you have it!
I really like how this turned out! I wasn't sure using pastels for a Christmas card would work, but it turned out fine! LOL! I'm looking forward to using this set a lot more! Can't wait to get more Gina K stamps! LOL!!
Have a great weekend!

Good Morning!
How is everyone out there today? I'm hoping to have a very productive day! Hope I'll be super busy at work so my day flys by! I need to get home and play in my studio!
I have to tell you a funny story! I started stamping almost 2 years ago. My sister made me! She always makes me do things!! Hee Hee! Thanks Terri! LOL!! Any hoo, back to my story. For the most part I have been self taught! Don't get me wrong Carol and Terri are great mentors! They have taught me a lot. However we live 8hrs away from each other. Well when I first started stamping I found these cute little reindeer at All that Scraps. Loved the little fellas! I ordered them and was so excited. Well when they came, they were just the foam backed rubber.... What the heck, where is the wood mount? I had nooooo idea what to do with them!! ROTFLOL!! You can LOL if you want!
My card today is one of those cute little reindeer! Isn't he cute? I colored his body with Prisma color pencils and OMS. His bright nose was done with a marker and crystal effects! My DP is retired Ski Slope. It's almost gone :( My sketch is for the sketch challenge at Splitcoasters.

Good Morning!
I bought the ribbon I used on this card about six months ago.I have tried and tried to build a card around it! Finally I did it! I needed inspiration though! My friend Betty at Stamp TV made this card that got my mojo goin! I kinda kept her layout! Really that's about all! When I first started the case I had no idea this is where I would end up! I had no idea I would get to use my ribbon! Yea! My card base is Gina K pure luxury chocolate brown ( thanks Terri )! I then layered with whisper white and pink pirouette. My pink pirouette was run through the big shot with swiss dot ef. I punched out chocolate with my scallop square punch and layered again with pink pirouette. My brown butterflies were stamped right on the pink pirouette and the white ones stamped and cut out. I love how this card turned out!

Voila
Good Morning All!
I have a very busy day ahead of me. Typically the 2nd weekend in August is Pinehurst Days! Our little town has maybe 1000 people in it. Every summer vendors, old cars , yard sales, and lots of food line the main street in town. My business is at the entrance of town and we have a huge yard sale in my parking lot! Several of my clients bring all their junk and put it with all my junk and we spend the day trading junk!! LOL! Actually we do a pretty good business gettin rid of our junk!
My post today is a cover to a 6x6 scrapbook. In our club the hostess of the month will bring a recipe and we will build a scrapbook page around it! I did the cover with the SU set Voila. I stamped and paper pieced my chef with Thoroughly Modern DP. He turned out pretty cute don't you think? It's a pretty simple layout, but cute all the same!
Well I'm off ..... to hopefully get rid of lots of junk! Wish me luck!
Have yourself a great day!

I made this card for the CAS challenge over at splitcoasters. The only problem is..... I don't know the name of the stamp set! You see, Betty Benton stamped the sentiment and sent it to me. I looked on her page on Stamp TV and she doesn't name the set! LOL ! The card was a really simple one! Especially sense I didn't do the stampin! I embossed on Gina K luxury white and layered with Real Red, sewed around and there you go ! I think it turned out pretty cute! Thanks Betty!

I am so happy to be home with a good internet connection! I felt lost not being able to connect with all my cyber buddies! Stamp TV is my social network! My DH does Facebook and Myspace, I prefer Stamp TV! I hope to catch up on all my friend posts today between clients!
My card today is done using a really old stamp set! Cold Weather Friends, I love these little critters! Anytime you do a red, black and white card it has to be awesome!! I used Gina K luxury black as my card base. Real Red and Whisper White complete the CS layers. My DP is from a matt stack.
Have yourself a really, really good day!

Mojo Monday
Good Morning!
How is everyone out there in cyber space? We are home from down south! We had a great time, but it's always nice to get home! My internet is way faster from my chair than it was at the motel! Patience is not my long suit! LOL! My DH played golf with my brother in-law Sunday and had a great time. Well except for the mosquitoes! They ate him alive.... So at 11:30 pm he was wide awake and itching. Guess what? We got up and headed home! We were home by 6:00 this morning! When the young man who was caring for our dogs showed up, we almost shocked the pants right off of him !! Hee Hee !!
It was really nice to get into my studio! I usually do most of my stamping over the weekend. First thing, I had to check the Mojo Monday sketch! It's my fav.! I changed it up a little.... Flipped the sketch, and didn't use the circle. I cut out my rose instead and covered it with vellum. This is the first time I've used vellum. I think I like it! My card base is Mellow Moss, layered with Whisper White. The DP is from my scraps. The rose itself was stamped and embossed by Betty Benton. She is such a love! Thanks Betty! I colored it with Prisma color pencils and oms. I think this card turned out pretty good considering all the sleep deprivation I'm suffering from! LOL!!
Have yourself a great day!

Well I'm still in southern Idaho! Surprising my sister was great fun! We had 22 people, it was a house full! Nieces and nephews, aunts & uncles & sisters! My internet connection at the motel is the absolute SLOWEST ever! OMGosh! Makes me appreciate home!!
MY card today was stamped using Fabulous Fruits! This card has Rich Razzelberry, Sigh!! The combination of Rich Razzelberry and Always Artichoke has become one of my favs!
My post today is short and sweet, still at my sis's!
Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Girl Friend !
Happy Birthday Girl Friend !!
This is officially my friends PURPLE birthday! She turns 60 ! This lady, and I mean the epitome of the word lady, is very classy! She is a professional in every aspect of the word! We are having a surprise birthday party for her today. The big surprise is this lady is my sister! We are here in her little town and she doesn't even know it! I call her every Sat. morning, only difference is I was just a few miles away when I talked to her today! My lil sis and nieces planned this little soiree! She REALLY hates surprises! Gotcha Terri!
This card was really fun to make with her in mind! These lovely ladies are from The Oldies collection over at Art Impressions. They have a variety of these that are just to funny! I dressed the ladies with Prisma color pencils and oms. I tattooed and pierced, that's what the oldies look like now! I added my own sentiment " I hear she's 60" . I can hardly wait till the surprise party!
You have yourself a great day!
