Northern Hearts

 Good Morning!

Taeler and I had a blast yesterday.  She stayed in

my craft room and colored most of the day! We 

are stopping at her house when I take her to school...

she has no idea her dad is home. Jami had to pick him

up in the Seattle area yesterday. Seattle is 6hrs away.

Daniel will go to school and pick up the other 2 kids

this afternoon. This boy is the glue that anchors this

family. He was going to pick Taeler up too but she

is homesick and needs to see her mom before school!

I am really happy with how this card turned out! I used

the new set northern hearts from SU... LOVE IT! My

dp is holiday joy. I am entering in these challenges:

Any Birdy Home?

Good Morning!

It's Tuesday and you know what that means, yep my

post for Artful INKables! Today I have an all purpose

I will be using it for!

Magical Monday

Good Magical Morning!

I hope all my wonderful cyber friends had a great weekend!
Dru is our hostess today and she wants:

Merry Christmas!

Good Morning!
I hope all is well with you today! I just have to say I love SU paper! I love that I can grab coordinating colors and they match perfectly! It just makes designing a card so much easier. My card base is cherry cobbler layered with very vanilla and love letter dp.My stamped image is from perfect punches. When I first saw this image I knew it would look great embossed in gold.... and it does :)!Well that's it for today! See you tomorrow!

Think Ink 26

            Good Morning!

Well I made to Ephrata and back in one piece! We actually made really good time! My "new to me" car got 35 mpg...... YAY how cool is that?

It's time for the the Think INK challenge! Tanya is our hostess and she wants us to make a non standard card (ie stair-step, gate fold etc . and use the color purple)! Great challenge! I've never made a joy fold card and was totally inspired by my friend Lori's card she made the other day....Thanks Lori!

My card base is whisper white layered with elegant eggplant and wisteria dp from basic gray. I used two sentiments from fictionally inspired.

Good Morning!

How are you today? Oh wait a sec... I need more coffee!

what color combo I used.... Yep bermuda bay,espresso and 

a splash of very vanilla!

My sentiment is from occasional quotes, dp is manchester

Artful INKables Tuesday

Good Morning!

It's Tuesday and you know what that means... My weekend

is over and I have to go back to work! It also means it's time

for my Artful INKables post! My creation is a free standing

pop up card. You can get the tutorial here. This was really 

pretty simple to make!

I seem to be stuck on this color combo! I love

the new marina mist and early espresso. I used 

the new set " Sew You" as my focal point! This

folds up to fit an A2 envelope. I'm thinkin I need

to make my gkids Christmas cards like this... they

It"s Magical Monday and I set the challenge for this week!

One - Layer Wednesday on Thursday!

Good Morning!

How is life treating you? Me you ask... Life couldn't

be better! As you know (because I've whined a lot) I've

been missing my mojo :0( Well last night I went to my

special place (craft room) you thought it was something 

else huh? Any hoo I went in and cleaned up my mess...

It seems to have helped! I whipped this little baby up in

about 15 min. It's for the One-Layer challenge!

 The sentiment came from "Heard from the Heart"

My wreath was created with the MS branch punch.

Added a cute little bow and there you have it! I am

Club Project!

Good Morning!

Hope your having a super great day! It looks like

we are going to have another beautiful sunny day!

The temperatures have been very tolerable! We had

club last night and I thought I would share one of our 

projects!

I used the new set "Friends never Fade" and the new

"Greenhouse Gala" dp. I purchased my acrylic frameat

Wal Mart! This was a fast and easy project!

TGIF...

Good Morning!

TGIF.... not really it's my Thursday but I'm close!
I have a little project using the new "Spot On" set

from Artful INKables.

I created this little top-note purse in about an hour. It was

so much fun. I punched out my dp and glued it to whisper

white card base. I then ran it through the big shot with the

top note die. The rest is pretty simple! I am entering in

Simplicity One-Layer Wednesday.... Water Color

We had a great time last night.... good food and great company!

I did make a fast card for the One-Layer Wednesday challenge!

I use awash with flowers from SU and my ink pad and re-inker to

do my water coloring!

Artful INKables Tuesday

Good Morning!

I hope all is well with you today! I made it through my

really busy Monday and got to play a little :0) My card

today is featuring the set " Spot on Summer" from the 

latest release at Artful INKables.

This card was so much fun! It went together super fast!

Gotta love that! The card base is old olive layered with

whisper white and greenhouse gala dp. My sunflowers are

buttons I've had for-evvver! I love the sentiment.... so true!

Mojo 147

Good Monday Mornin!

Sorry I've been MIA! My shop has been slammed...

usually July is a slow month,but not so this year! I'm not

complaining mind you it just sucks the life out of me in this

heat! Ok enough whining, onto my card! I love how this 

turned out!

My picture doesn't show how bright and fun this is! I 

embossed my fruity images from Tart and Tangy with

iridescent ice ep. My dp is from a mat stack as is the

sentiment! Well that's it for today.... I hope to get to play

later. I have a dentist appointment and have to go to Costco

and get supplies :) So goes life!

Icecream the Artful INKables way!

Good Morning!

Are you staying cool? We aren't near as warm as some are...

but we're warm for us :-) My card today uses another new

set from Artful INKables called "Spot On Summer". This is a fun, fun 

set! Each image is designed to use buttons or some other kind

 of circle on the image.

I used stickles for my ice cream... I squished it so it would kinda

look creamy! Squishing is a professional term you know! Squish,
