Good Morning!

It's Tuesday and you know what that means, yep my

post for Artful INKables! Today I have an all purpose

card to share! I didn't put a sentiment on until I know what

I will be using it for!

My card base is cajun craze layered with very vanilla and dp

from a mat stack. My focal image is from Any Birdie Home.

Think Ink 26

            Good Morning!

Well I made to Ephrata and back in one piece! We actually made really good time! My "new to me" car got 35 mpg...... YAY how cool is that?

It's time for the the Think INK challenge! Tanya is our hostess and she wants us to make a non standard card (ie stair-step, gate fold etc . and use the color purple)! Great challenge! I've never made a joy fold card and was totally inspired by my friend Lori's card she made the other day....Thanks Lori!

My card base is whisper white layered with elegant eggplant and wisteria dp from basic gray. I used two sentiments from fictionally inspired.

Artful INKables Tuesday

Good Morning!

It's Tuesday and you know what that means... My weekend

is over and I have to go back to work! It also means it's time

for my Artful INKables post! My creation is a free standing

pop up card. You can get the tutorial here. This was really 

pretty simple to make!

I seem to be stuck on this color combo! I love

the new marina mist and early espresso. I used 

the new set " Sew You" as my focal point! This

folds up to fit an A2 envelope. I'm thinkin I need

to make my gkids Christmas cards like this... they

would enjoy them! That's it for today! Pop

Good Afternoon!

I hope everyone out there in cyber space is having a great

weekend! I know I am! It's HOT though! I got my house

clean, shampooed carpets and even did a little stampin :)

My card today is for the current THINK INK challenge

TGIF...

Good Morning!

TGIF.... not really it's my Thursday but I'm close!
I have a little project using the new "Spot On" set

from Artful INKables.

I created this little top-note purse in about an hour. It was

so much fun. I punched out my dp and glued it to whisper

white card base. I then ran it through the big shot with the

top note die. The rest is pretty simple! I am entering in 

these challenges:

Artful INKables Tuesday

Good Morning!

I hope all is well with you today! I made it through my

really busy Monday and got to play a little :0) My card

today is featuring the set " Spot on Summer" from the 

latest release at Artful INKables.

This card was so much fun! It went together super fast!

Gotta love that! The card base is old olive layered with

whisper white and greenhouse gala dp. My sunflowers are

buttons I've had for-evvver! I love the sentiment.... so true!

Icecream the Artful INKables way!

Good Morning!

Are you staying cool? We aren't near as warm as some are...

but we're warm for us :-) My card today uses another new

set from Artful INKables called "Spot On Summer". This is a fun, fun 

set! Each image is designed to use buttons or some other kind

 of circle on the image.

I used stickles for my ice cream... I squished it so it would kinda

look creamy! Squishing is a professional term you know! Squish,

to be squished and squishing all apply ! LOL! Check out AI's new

Artful INKables Tuesday

 Good Morning to You!
 I hope all is well today!  I had a great day yesterday! I spent 4hrs outside helping my son's girl with her way overgrown yard! I love hard physical work.... so good for the soul!

I've created another box to share today. It's an origami box. No glue, tape or adhesive of any kind for the box itself! Way fun. You can check out the tutorial here.

My focal image is from Artful INKables "Aquatic Fantasy" My box was constructed using "To the Nines" specialty paper.  I will be entering in these challenges:

First Tutorial Evvvvver!

Good Morning!
Today I bring you my very first tutorial ever! It's a pretty simple, but a girl has to start somewhere right! As a DT member for Artful INKables we are required to do a tutorial! AI stamps are the bomb and so much fun to work with!

Supplies you will need
Prisma color pencils
Odorless Mineral Spirits
Blending stumps (solid)
Black Memento ink
Stamps- I used Aquatic Fantasy

Stamp your image with memento.

 I then outline with color of choice.

 As a rule I outline my entire image.

I then blend starting with the lightest color using my Blending

stumps dipped in OMS. I work from the outside in blending in circles.

I then added a little glitter and finished my project!

 That's it for today! I hope to get to play with paper all weekend!

Twilight Challenge Week 4

                                                                 

                    Good Morning!                                               

It's time for the 4th and final  Twilight challenge!  The challenge is make anything

but a card with a Twilight Theme! I made a note pad with 4 note cards!

My note pad is an acrylic picture frame turned on it's side! The sentiment is

from " Fictionally Inspired"!

The note cards  are stamped on whisper white . The background is

from "Into the Moonlight" and the sentiments are from " Fictionally Inspired".

I chose to make a card with inc-hies.  Believe it or not I have yet to make a card with inc- hies that I like! This is now exception.... inc-hies are a huge challenge to me! I simply stamped the sentiment and a small school of fish and wha-la! Sorry this is short and sweet, my DH made me a hot toddy to maybe kill this bug! If nothing else I will sleep really,really good! Twilight Challenge Week 2

Good Morning!
It's week 2 of the Twilight Challenge at Artful INKables! This weeks challenge is to use Twilight's colors black, red and white. I used the set "Into the Moonlight" This is my first tent card... way fun! Come play along! We can't wait to see what you come up with! Sorry this is so short.... still fighting the bug! Got Milk?

     Good Morning!
It's Tuesday and that means it's time for my Artful INKables post! Today I created a little milk crate with mini milk cartons! I used the Aquatic Fantasy set. My crate design came from Paper Pleasing Ideas.  My picture is a little wonky.... I have a face cold and my mojo is stuck in my sinuses! Not fun! Don't forget to play with us at the Twilight Challenge for Artful INKables. The 2nd challenge will be posted on Thursday! We would really love to have you play along!

Twilight Challenge Month wk 1

 Twilight Challenge Month

In addition to our Twlight themed blog hop at the end of June to celebrate the release of Eclipse, we're having a MONTH LONG Twilight themed CHALLENGE FOR OUR BELOVED CUSTOMERS!

What can you win? How about a $25 Gift Certificate to the store, as well as being our featured Customer on the Blog ALL MONTH LONG!!

Deets: We'll be starting Weekly Challenges starting June 3rd. We will have 4 challenges, one per week, each will be posted on a Thursday. You will have one week to complete your challenge piece. You will be required to participated in each challenge, each week, to be eligible to win. An overall winner will be chosen on July 1st.

To participate, you can use any of our fantastic Twilight Themed Stamp sets....

Epic Tales
Fictionally Inspired
Into the Moonlight
Vampire/Romance Themed Charms

or you can use ANY Artful INKables stamp set to create a Twilight themed card/project. You MUST use AI stamps as the main focus of your cards/projects. You have plenty of time to get some fabulous stamps in order to participate in the challenges and the HOP!

The 1st challenge is to use one of the Twilight book covers as inspiration! 

I chose the New Moon as my inspiration piece.

I used the flower from "Into the Moonlight" to create the image! It actually has sparkle, but the picture doesn't show it well! Be sure and pop over to Artful INKables and play along! There is lot's of fun to be had!
