There's Magic in the Air!

Good Morning!
It's Monday and that means it's time for another challenge at TMITA/PCC!
Pat Pedder brings us this weeks challenge. She wants us to use this weeks freebie "Cats" by "Paper Cupcakes" and wants to see some spots on this week's projects; spotty paper, flowers, ribbon etc.
The prize for this week’s random drawing for whoever participates in this weeks challenge and links their work back to TMITA/PCC will get to pick "TWO" images of their choice from my store Paper Cupcakes
My card base is  apricot appeal  layered with whisper white and sweet pea dp. My focal image was colored with SU markers and then embossed. My background was sponged around a sticky note moon!Pop over to TMITA/PCC and play along! That's it for now! Hope to see you later!

Good Magical Morning!
It's time for another Magical Monday challenge and I'm the hostess! For this challenge I chose monochromatic! That means all shades of one color and a neutral. I used tones of red. My focal image is called poppies. It's one of the new images at Paper Cupcakes. Nina has some new awesome images so pop over and take a look!My card base is the new cherry cobbler layered with whisper white. Good Magical Morning!

It's Magical Monday and I'm the hostess for the challenge! We are to create anything but a card with a birthday theme!  I used Simple Pleasures as my focal image! I created this little box to put a small necklace in for my gdaughter. She love balloons and bears so this is perfect! I am also entering in these challenges!

Magical Monday CAS

Good Morning!
I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day! I did... I sat in front of the T.V. and watched 3 chick flicks in a row! Anyone that knows me. know that's not normal! I maybe watch 3 movies a year... LOL! Ok, onto Magical Monday! Sue is our hostess this week and she wants CAS:

Let's do a CAS card.....clean and simple

1. Clean: the design is uncluttered with lots of white or open space. Simple: having a clear focal point without a lot going on to detract from it.
OR
2. simple in design regardless of the number of embellishments or how long it takes to color, stitch or to use a special technique
OR
3. can be copied and mass produced fairly quickly… usually without a lot of coloring, layers, embellishments, tools and/or techniques
OR
4. any combination of the above
I chose uncluttered with lots of white space.

I love this image! So simple and clean. Makes for a perfect CAS card! The winner this week at TMITA/PCC gets to take a trip to Paper Cupcakes and pick an image of their choice! Nina is so generous! Pop over to TMITA/PCC and play along... we'd love to have ya! I'll see you soon with a Mojo card ( I hope)!

Magical Monday!

Good Morning!

 It's Magical Monday time! Olga is our hostess this week! She has a sketch challenge for us!

 You know how much I love sketches! So this challenge is right up my alley!

I flipped the sketch and used a different shape for my focal image!

I used one of my very favorite images from Paper Cupcakes "Waiting".This is one

easy image to color! Of course you can use any acquired image for this challenge

but if you need one, pop over to Paper Cupcakes and do some shopping! 

 My card base is basic black layered with whisper white,elegant eggplant and

dp from a mat stack! Hop over to TMITA/PCC and play along! We would love

to see what you come up with!

Good Magical Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I did!

Carol and I spent most of the day playing with paper...

I know your surprised! We had a blast!

Today Sue is our hostess. She is giving us free

creative license, yes anything goes! Nina gave us

one gorgeous image to work with this week! My 

favorite flower is the lily so I immediately fell in love 

with this image!

My card base is certainly celery layered with whisper

white and summer sun! I colored my lilies with copics.

Good Magical Morning!

It's a very Magical Monday! My little sis is here.... YEA! I don't have to go back to work until Thursday, I see lot's of stamping in my future! It's so much fun to share a hobby with someone you really enjoy spending time with! The only way it could be better is if Terri was here too!

Even better it's time for another challenge at TMITA/PCC! Kim is our hostess this week and she has a fun challenge for us:
any PCC image(s)
- a 4x4 size card base
- 1 ribbon
- 1 single type of embellishment (e.g., brads, buttons, clips, etc.) in ANY quantity (but only 1 type!)
- 1 stamped/printed sentiment
- NO pattern papers
My card base is old olive layered with a sponged background. My focal image is moss covered bird house and was colored with prisma pencils and OMS. I used old olive buttons and ribbon to meet Kim's challenge. It just occurred to me I don't have a stamped sentiment :( My bad! Thanks for such a great challenge Kim... Make sure you pop over to TMITA/PCC and play along! I hope to be back today with a majo card!

Good Magical Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was great....

however my carpet shampooer died with one room left to do!

It's about 7yrs old, I guess they don't last forever! 

This week Nilla is our hostess for Magical Monday! She wants :

Use any shades of Blue/green/white. Make these colors 

the main theme for your project.

This is "Merry Wishes" Fun,fun image! You can get this image 

at Paper Cupcakes! My card base is whisper white layered with

glittery dp. The focal image was colored with SU markers and glitter.

My flowers were made with a couple of punches. I'll be back with a Mojo card!

It's Magical Monday!

Good Morning!

 I hope everyone had a wonderful, wonderful Easter!

Ours was pretty quiet! I had the whole day to stamp

 and only got two cards made! Some days you can 

really crank em out and some days you can't! Well

onto Magical Monday!
Selma is our hostess this week! She wants us to :

Celebrate Spring with cards that have 3-D flowers and leaves;

they can be Prima, die cut, hand cut, silk, etc.

 I used "Cart full of Flowers" for my image! This

one of the 19 new images in the Paper Cupcakes 

store! The new images rock... be sure and check

them out! I paper pieced my flowers with dp from

a mat stack! I have no idea the name of the 

embossing folder I used! I believe I got it from SU!

I'm back again with Magical Monday! You can't

to play! Of coarse it's Nina's cute images that make

It's Time for another challenge at TMITA/PCC! This week Kim is our hostess! She wants us to make any "non traditional " style card, e,g., free standing pop up,joy fold, tri fold-shutter.SCS is a great place to find tutorials on all kinds of cards! I chose to make a tri fold - shutter card. This is the first one I've ever made! I so enjoyed creating this!

My card base is chocolate chip layered with whisper white and pink pirouetted dp. My focal image from Paper Cupcakes was colored with prisma colored pencils and OMS. Well I hope to be back with a Mojo card!

It's time for another challenge at TMITA/PCC!

I happen to be the hostess this week! Guess 

what I have for a challenge.... a sketch, I know

your surprised huh? You can stretch it, rotate it,

reverse it etc. as long as the original sketch can

still be seen!

 

You can use any image you've acquired so far.

I use one of the new ones she has posted in her store

Paper Cupcakes. The winner of the drawing this week 

will be able to choose any image from Paper Cupcakes. 

Nina is so generous!

The image is called Tulips. I colored my image with

copics. My card base is rich razzelberry layered with

whisper white and cottage wall dp. I flipped my own 

sketch, how funny is that? I can't wait to see what you

come up with !

Magical Monday

When you join in the challenge, you can use

any image you've acquired or use the one

Nina has provided. She also has a great

prize for the winner of the random drawing!

 

How cool is that? Our hostess this week is

Selma. Her challenge for us is:

Use lace (either paper punched or real) and a circle

(the main image and/or greeting stamped in a circle). 

My card today was done with Springtime Friends. This

is a really fun image to work with!

 

I colored the image with SU reinkers and

a blender pen! I really do have a lacy

border on here but covered it up with 

my ribbon..... :( So here is the inside!

Same border! LOL! Make sure you
