Color Dare 52

Good Morning!

I hope this finds everyone well! It's time for another Color Dare Challenge! Here are the colors to be used.

Only Orange
Brocade Blue
Old Olive
Chocolate Chip

This one took me awhile, but I did it! LOL! My card base is chocolate chip layered with brocade blue and retired dp from SU. I embossed the middle panel and flipped it over. My sentiment is from whimsical words. The only way I could incorporate the orange was with the flower. All in all I'm really happy how it turned out!
Have yourself a great day!

Truly Thankful!

Good Sunday Afternoon!

I can't believe the day is half gone! My house is clean, laundry is done...... now all I can do is play with paper! ;))

My card today is for two challenges:

Stampin' Sisters in Christ
Anyone for Anya?

The challenge for Stampin' Sisters in Christ is based on this scripture:
Chronicles 16:34 “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (NIV)
The challenge for Anyone for Anya is a sketch challenge. That being said onto my card. My card base is not quite nave layered with kraft and very vanilla. The second panel is not quit navy layered with a piece of very vanilla that I embossed. The third panel is not quite navy and a piece of dotted velum. The forth panel.... you guessed it kraft layered with not quite navy and very vanilla! My sentiment is elegant thank you from SU.

Be sure and check out the new articles Carol and Bill have written!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Beautiful You

Good Evening!

I hope everyone is well! Sorry I was MIA yesterday! It was just one of those days! Well today was way better! It's pouring rain.... great for staying home and playing with paper!
My card today is for Color Throwdown and the Stamp TV sketch challenge. The colors to be used are purely
pomegranate ,certainly celery and taken with teal. Well since purely pomegranate was an in color way before I started stampin, I had to use rich razzelberry.... sigh! My card base is taken with teal, layered with whisper white and rich razzelberry. Not sure where my image came from. I stamped it at my sisters I think! Not so sure! LOL! My sentiment is from the Verve set called beautiful you.

Have your self a great, great weekend!

I really enjoyed creating this card. Things just fell together! The sketch is obvious. Stamp TV color challenge is blue, green and yellow. I used night of navy, always artichoke and my yellow is prisma color pencils. The Flouish challenge is water coloring. I used prisma color pencils and OMS on the flowers in the basket. I love the look you get with water coloring. My card base is always artichoke layered with night of navy. My sentiment is from the Verve set beautiful you. Thanks for dropping by!

Stampin Sisters 9 & Stamp TV sketch 34

Good Morning!

Well I'm tucked in for the weekend! My weekend is Sunday and Monday! My DH and I have gone to the gym and grocery shopping already this morning. I have just a little house work to do today..... soooooo I think I will play with paper! LOL!

My card to day is for Stampin Sisters in Christ and Stamp TV sketch 34. This was a pretty simple quick card! Little actual stamping... the tree and sentiment are embossed with silver EP. The tree is from Lovely as a Tree and the sentiment is from Christmas Greetings. The rest of my card is done with the bigshot. I dry embossed the night of navy with a texturz plate. I cut the tag and the pieces for the focal point with nesties. I then punched the very vanilla with the fiskers sunburst border punch. My corner is a dye ran through the bigshot.

Have yourself a great day!

Cuttlebug challenge 52

Good Morning!

My card today is for the challenge over at The Cuttlebug Spot! The challenge is monochromatic. Well you can't get much more monochromatic than all white!

My sketch for this card is the sketch Linda Payne created for the sketch challenge on Stamp TV.

My card base is Gina K pure luxury white, layered with whisper white. Layered again with whisper white that I embossed with a cuttlebug folder. My next layer is...... you guessed it whisper white layered with another embossed piece of whisper white! My focal image is a poinsettia from A Year of Flowers stamped on whisper white . I then added a white ribbon and there you have it!

Have your self a great day!

STVSC 33

Good Morning!

My card today is for the sketch challenge over at Stamp TV. Linda Payne is the hostess and she has come up with a great sketch! She is such an inspiration ..... her work "wows" me over and over!
My card base is perfect plum layered with old olive and dp from a mat stack. The dp is textured but you can't see it in the picture very well. My side panel is perfect plum layered with a piece of old olive that I ran through the big shot with the swiss dot embossing folder. My focal image was cut out and dry embossed with nestabilities. The image is from the set Of the Earth. I colored the image with SU markers and sponged around it with the die still attached.

Have yourself a great day!
