TGIF Sister Swap

Good Morning!

It's time for another sister swap! Terri got to pick the challenge for May! 

Since Carol was here we decided to get our cards done! Terri gave us a

color challenge with a twist! We were to use lavender, green ,blue

all pastel with a neutral .... the twist you ask? Add an animal!

My card base is bashful blue layered with sage shadow

and Debi Mumm dp. I added a sentiment from Artful

INKables  "Newborn Blessings" That was all the stamping

done on this card! Carol needed a baby girl card so I cheated

a little and did it in pink!

I am entering these in a few challenges.

Good Morning!

Today I have my Think Ink challenge card!

 Alicia is our hostess for this challenge!

Fun, fun challenge. I have a card I made for 

Artful INKables that I just didn't like from the

get-go!

I think the thing I really don't like about this card

is the pink sponging! It totally ruined the card! So

This is my remake!

I changed the layout and the colors! I colored my little girl 

from "In My Garden" with copics. Be sure and pop over

Artful INKables Tuesday!

Good Morning to You!

It's Tuesday and yes I have an Artful INKables post to share!

Carol told me about a slider card she had seen, but can't remember

where she saw it! (the memory is the 1st to go!) Anyhoo it took us

several tries to figure it out.... but I think we got it!

This is going to be like a magic trick! It's way fun!

Are you ready to see it opened?

Ok... watch really,really close, I'm going to

close it up again!

Cool trick huh? It's amazing what goes on in my

little sisters head! I used "Any Birdie Home" from

Artful INKables as my focal image. My card base is

ruby red and basic gray dp. It's Think Ink challenge
time! Be sure and pop over to Artful INKables and
play along!

Mojo 136

It's Mojo time! Today I did a really fast and simple card!

We can call it a FAS card! I used my "Any Birdie Home" set

from Artful INKables. This set is so much fun LOVE IT!

I simply stamped the flowers from "Any Birdie Home" on

basic gray dp to make my focal image. The rest was just as

simple as that! All in all the card took about 15min! Great 

if you need a quick card! You should check out Artful INKables

store for more great set! That's it for today... Carol will only be here

for a few more days and I want to spend all the time I can with her!

Magical Monday

Good Magical Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I did!

Carol and I spent most of the day playing with paper...

I know your surprised! We had a blast!

Today Sue is our hostess. She is giving us free

creative license, yes anything goes! Nina gave us

one gorgeous image to work with this week! My 

favorite flower is the lily so I immediately fell in love 

with this image!

My card base is certainly celery layered with whisper

white and summer sun! I colored my lilies with copics.
Be sure and pop over to TMITA/PCC and play along!

Copic Storage!

Good Morning!

So everybody knows my little sis Carol is here... right?

We've been very,very busy playing with paper! We needed

nourishment while we were stampin, sooooooo we ate these!

They made Carol's creative juices flow and she had

a great idea! Copic storage! Sooooo we had to eat

more and more.....

They are really,really yummy!

I covered the tins with delicate dots dp. Used my scalloped

nesties for the lid and punched a label! I then stuck the tins

together with left over rubber from my wood mounted stamps.

Pretty cool ... huh? So the more copics I get , the more I will

have to eat! Lucky they have them at the $ store! That's it

for today! I have to work again :0(

Good Morning Again!

Artful INKables Think Ink Challenge

I'm a little late getting my challenge card done... but

I did it before the challenge is over! LOL! You can

still play along, there's still time! Jackie Rakoski is our

hostess for this challenge and she wants us to use 

paint swatches. Here is my creation!

My focal image is from "Plant Prints and the sentiment

is from "In My Garden"! Carol gave me dp.... wasn't

Color Dare 64

    It's Color Dare time! This week Riley has come up with a really cool color combo! It took me awhile to come up with a card.... Carol wouldn't help at all! She just stood there and went a-huh, a-huh! I don't think she was pay attention at all! Ok back to my card, the colors are....

                Old Olive
             Certainly Celery
              Summer Sun  

My card base is summer sun layered with very vanilla. My dp has both greens in it and is from a mat stack! I used the upsy daisy set for my focal image and sentiment. My flower is a paper flower from my stash. The flower when it was in the package looked really ugly.....it really does look better IRL!  Pop over to the Color Dare blog and play along!

I'm back with my MOJO card! Carol's still sleeping.... can you believe it? This will be quick I need to jump in the shower! I used essence of love for my focal image... colored with SU markers. Good Magical Morning!

It's a very Magical Monday! My little sis is here.... YEA! I don't have to go back to work until Thursday, I see lot's of stamping in my future! It's so much fun to share a hobby with someone you really enjoy spending time with! The only way it could be better is if Terri was here too!

Even better it's time for another challenge at TMITA/PCC! Kim is our hostess this week and she has a fun challenge for us:
any PCC image(s)
- a 4x4 size card base
- 1 ribbon
- 1 single type of embellishment (e.g., brads, buttons, clips, etc.) in ANY quantity (but only 1 type!)
- 1 stamped/printed sentiment
- NO pattern papers
My card base is old olive layered with a sponged background. My focal image is moss covered bird house and was colored with prisma pencils and OMS. I used old olive buttons and ribbon to meet Kim's challenge. It just occurred to me I don't have a stamped sentiment :( My bad! Thanks for such a great challenge Kim... Make sure you pop over to TMITA/PCC and play along! I hope to be back today with a majo card!

Good Morning!

    Remember this card? See the big flower?

How in the world can I give this to anyone?

It won't fit into an envelope! Not even if Olga

makes it for me!

I know... how about a box!

I used the same paper as the card and it fits perfectly!

This is actually my sister swap card! Both of my sisters

have gdaughters who love to read... this would be a fun

Mercy it's Thursday!

Good Morning to You!
   It's Thursday and I finished Mercy's Tuesday sketch!
I enjoyed making this card, I just kinda took my time and
let it come together! No plan other than the sketch and the
colors and the sentiment... well you get the idea! Yes I had
challenges in mind, but I did take my time! LOL! My card
base is chocolate chip layered with cameo coral and sending
love dp. My focal image and sentiment is from lovely labels.

Color Dare 63

Good Morning!
 Color Dare is off of spring break! Today Riley wants us
to use: lovely lilac, pale plum and tempting turquoise!
Beautiful color combo! Isn't the inspiration piece just
plain gorgeous?

This is what I came up with!

My card base is lovely lilac layered with whisper white
and sweet pea dp. I used Flight of the Butterfly for my
focal image and sentiment.
