Mojo Monday 141

I'm baaaaack! Mojo Monday is rockin today! The challenge is to make a circular or square shaped card. Well I took creative license and made mine in your classic A2 model.... hehehe! Just works better for what I needed. I love the sketch but I had to flip it! I have been so busy with DT cards my SU sets have been horribly neglected! So I'm trying to show them a little love! My card base is chocolate chip layered with dp from a mat stack. My focal image  Upsy Daisy... love it! One of my favs! With my friend Betty's recommendation I am entering this in Speedy the Cat's friends challenge! That's it for today.... off to my craft room for some play time!

There's Magic in the Air!

Good Magical Monday!
  Today Kim is our challenge hostess. She has provided the picture at the right as our inspiration piece! Her challenge is :

To kick off summer let's have a summer inspiration challenge. Be inspired by this vintage looking Hawaii poster by Kerne Erickson.
We get to use any acquired image . For my image I used summer delights. Fun image to color! I used pink passion as my card base layered with dp from a mat stack. I know my card doesn't look like Hawaii but it does look like summer!

Very Vintage

Good Sunday Morning!
  I bet you didn't expect to see me today! I haven't played on a weekend for a very long time! It feels so good! My card today is just because.... I had to get some mojo flowin! Best way to do that is to make something.... right? I decided to dig into my old stamps and show them some love! I used the 2005 set called Lexicon of Love. LOVE it! I distressed, wrinkled , inked and wrinkled some more to give it a  vintage feel! I really like how it turned out!

Quilted Top Note

Good Morning,
I hope all is well with you today! I have a fun little project to share with you today! It's a top note purse, you can get the tutorial on Chic'n Scratch. It's pretty simple to make! The quilting is the most time consuming! My sentiment is from the new set vintage labels for SU. Good Morning!
I have a quick and easy card to share today! I simply stamped the motorcycle image and layered it a little. I embossed the front of the card stock, added a sentiment and there you have it!

I made this easel card for a friend's niece! The niece did all kinds of volunteer work for our local water district! So they wanted to give her a special card. They had purchased a water can charm so they wanted a water can on the card! Thoughts of father was the perfect set to use for this card! Her school colors are purple and gold , so I use elegant eggplant and crushed curry. The inside has a computer generated sentiment and the back has all of the water district employee signatures. Color Dare 67

Good Morning!
It's Wednesday and you know what that means! Yep it's Color Dare time!

Colors for this challenge are: Melon Mambo, Elegant Eggplant, Bermuda Bay & Old Olive.
Very cool color combo! I used my new Unity stamp set and made a fairly CAS card! My
border was done with MS lattice punch! Hop over to Color Dare and play along! You can't go

Good Tues Morning!

I won a blog hop, their entire new release. I couldn't believe it! Kristin is so generous. Their stamps are great quality and so affordable! I have another creation using the "Pick a Pocket Piece". I actually made this for the blog hop but wasn't really happy with it. So you get it today!

Since I drive a 74 super beetle, I'm kinda drawn to the peace,love thing! My purse was created with a tutorial from Inking Idaho. I will be able to fit 4- 6 cards in this, it's plenty big!
