Artful INKables Tuesday

 Good Morning to You!
 I hope all is well today!  I had a great day yesterday! I spent 4hrs outside helping my son's girl with her way overgrown yard! I love hard physical work.... so good for the soul!

I've created another box to share today. It's an origami box. No glue, tape or adhesive of any kind for the box itself! Way fun. You can check out the tutorial here.

My focal image is from Artful INKables "Aquatic Fantasy" My box was constructed using "To the Nines" specialty paper.  I will be entering in these challenges:

There's Magic in the Air!

Good Morning!

It's Monday and that means it's time for Magical Monday with TMITA/PCC!

My stampin buddy, ole pal Olga sets the challenge for us this week! She wants

us to create a box or container using any acquired image from Paper Cupcakes.

My box was created using Deco Hearts. I cut my image apart and added

lots and lots of glitter.... ( that was for Olga) 

My mojo is missing... if anyone sees it would you send it back to Idaho?

I really do miss it.... I promise to treat it better when it comes home!

First Tutorial Evvvvver!

Good Morning!
Today I bring you my very first tutorial ever! It's a pretty simple, but a girl has to start somewhere right! As a DT member for Artful INKables we are required to do a tutorial! AI stamps are the bomb and so much fun to work with!

Supplies you will need
Prisma color pencils
Odorless Mineral Spirits
Blending stumps (solid)
Black Memento ink
Stamps- I used Aquatic Fantasy

Stamp your image with memento.

 I then outline with color of choice.

 As a rule I outline my entire image.

I then blend starting with the lightest color using my Blending

stumps dipped in OMS. I work from the outside in blending in circles.

I then added a little glitter and finished my project!

 That's it for today! I hope to get to play with paper all weekend!

Twilight Challenge Week 4

It's time for the 4th and final  Twilight challenge!  The challenge is make anything

but a card with a Twilight Theme! I made a note pad with 4 note cards!

My note pad is an acrylic picture frame turned on it's side! The sentiment is

from " Fictionally Inspired"!

The note cards  are stamped on whisper white . The background is

from "Into the Moonlight" and the sentiments are from " Fictionally Inspired".

Good Morning!

I colored my image with Su markers. Where is the blush blossom you ask? I lightly sponged around my focal image with it!

Good Morning!
It's Tuesday and that means it's time for another Artful INKables post! Not only is it my Tuesday post it's also time for a new Think INK challenges. It's my turn to set the challenge.... how about anything but a card in red, white and blue! I created a top -note box using the "Pik a Pocket Piece". My box base is not quite navy,and the top note is real red. My pocket was stamped on whisper white! I added a sticky flower and ribbon.... Wha La! There's Magic in the Air!

Good Morning!
It's Monday and that means it's time for another challenge at TMITA/PCC!
Pat Pedder brings us this weeks challenge. She wants us to use this weeks freebie "Cats" by "Paper Cupcakes" and wants to see some spots on this week's projects; spotty paper, flowers, ribbon etc.

CAS Father's Day

Good Morning!
How is everyone out there in cyber space? All here is fine... I think I'm going to live! The bug has taken flight! DH thinks he's gettin it though ):  My card is a CAS Father's day card! I stamped my grass from "Inspired by Nature" in chocolate chip on really rust card stock. The sentiment is from " Thoughts of Father".  Pretty simple, the inside has the grass stamped with versamark on very vanilla card stock to make a water mark. I am entering in these challenges!

Artful INKables Tuesday post!

Good Morning!
It's Tuesday and you know what that means... yeppers it's time for my Artful INKables post. Today I made a CAS card using Aquatic Fantasy! I simply stamped the sentiment and a small school of fish and wha-la! Sorry this is short and sweet, my DH made me a hot toddy to maybe kill this bug! If nothing else I will sleep really,really good! MOJO 143

I'm back and it's Mojo time! This card was way fun to create! I had to send DH to the store so I could steal the tee's! Thee thee hee hee! I couldn't wait an hour for him to leave for golf.... afraid I would lose the idea! My card base is basic black layered with ridinghood red and new SU dp called newsprint. My stamped images are from 2 old SU sets all year cheer and sporting goods. I am also entering these challenges:

Good Magical Morning!
It's time for another Magical Monday challenge and I'm the hostess! For this challenge I chose monochromatic! That means all shades of one color and a neutral. I used tones of red. Good Morning
I hope all is well with you. I haven't stamped all week so I had to play today before chores! I went straight to the Sweet Sunday sketch challenge for some inspiration! Nothing like a good sketch to get the ole juices flowin! I used some new SU products on this card. My focal image is from "Artistic Etchings". Got Milk?

     Good Morning!
It's Tuesday and that means it's time for my Artful INKables post! Today I created a little milk crate with mini milk cartons! I used the Aquatic Fantasy set. My crate design came from Paper Pleasing Ideas.  My picture is a little wonky.... I have a face cold and my mojo is stuck in my sinuses! Not fun! MOJO 142

I'm back with my Mojo card! I love how this turned out! Things just flowed.... haven't had that for awhile! My focal image and sentiment are from Unity's "Moments in Bloom" love that set! Artful INKables Tuesday Post

Good Tuesday Morning!
     
    It's time for my Artful INKables post! I've used the new set Aquatic Fantasy. This is a really fun set with all kinds of possibilities! My card base is baja breeze layered with dp from a mat stack. I embossed both layers to make it look like waves! My little mermaid was dressed with the same dp used for the sentiment! Since I'm a hairdresser I gave her a 3 color weave... LOL!
