 I made this card for my stepdaughter and her new hubby!

They were married yesterday on April fools day... to funny!

She even wore black.... HeHeHe

Think Spring

Good Morning to You!

How is everyone today? All here in North Idaho is awesome! Spring is so showing it's face around here! I really hope since March is coming in like a lamb it will go out like a lamb too! My card today is purely copic practice! LOL! These things take practice I'm tellin ya! My sister Terri makes it look easy peasy! 

 

I love how this turned out!  I am entering it in Pals Paper Arts  think spring challenge. My card base is rich razzelberry layered with whisper white and cottage wall dp. The focal image is from Flourishes nasturtiums. I made my butterflies by stamping with craft white on vellum. I then punched them out with my MS butterfly punch. Well that's it for today! Oh by the way.... you won't see much of me on weekends from now on. I have a ton of spring cleaning and painting to do! Want to help? I have coffee and cookies... LOL!

 with whisper white and sweet pea DP! My focal

image is from Flourishes new set A year in flowers.

I colored it with SU markers and a blender pen.

My card today is for The Color Dare

challenge. Colors to be used are some

of my favorites! Rich razzelberry, kraft

and taken with teal. My card base is rich

razzelberry layered with kraft and sweet

pea dp. My focal image is from Flourishes

poppy patch. I stamped my poppy on kraft

and sponged around it with rich razzelberry.

I love the sentiment,which is also from the

set poppy patch. Well that's it for today!

Good Sunday Morning!

I hope everyone is enjoying there extended weekend! I have tons of house cleaning to get done now that everyone is gone! I plan to sneak lots of stamping in between chores! My card today is for these challenges!

This sketch from The Sweetest Thing was really fun to work with! My card base is Gina K pure luxury white, layered with melon mambo and delicate lines dp. My focal image is Flourish's nasturtiums colored with re-inkers and blender pens from SU. The sentiment is from Verve's beautiful you. She has such great sentiments with the coolest font! Well I must scoot... lots to do! I will be back with a blog award from my dear friend Olga!

Color Throwdown!

Good Morning!

I really hope everyone had a super great Thanksgiving! I know I did..... lot's of fun and laughter! Oh and GREAT eats! Everybody pitched in... my girls even did the dishes! That new dishwasher is a God send!
OK onto my card! I created it for the Color Throwdown challenge. Colors are dusty durango, elegant eggplant, and old olive. It's a pretty combo! My card base is dusty durango layered with very vanilla and dp from a matt stack. My focal image is from Flourishs nasturtiums. I simply sponged my required colors on and then assembled my card! It was really quick and simple! I did it while everyone was still sleeping! LOL!

Good Morning All!

My card today is for the sketch challenge over at Stamp TV. I switched the sketch up a bit! I started by following it and all of a sudden the card was finished and only had a few of the elements of the sketch! LOL!
Anyhoo.... my card base is so saffron layered with always artichoke and delicate dots dp. My focal image is from flourish's however I don't know it's name! I stamped if off when I was visiting my sis, Thanks Terri! Terri says the stamp is sweet peas! LOL! I colored it with reinkers and blender pens. I then zig zagged around all the panels, added a ribbon and few pearls ..... And there you have it! My sketch challenge card that doesn't look much like the sketch! Hee! Hee!
