Jugs 8 & Crazy 4 Challenges 12

Good Evening!

Did you miss me? Had a long busy day at work! I did manage to come up with a card for Crazy 4 Challenges and Jugs 8. Crazy 4 challenges is a sketch and Jugs is a color challenge. Colors are really rust, pumpkin pie and bashful blue. Fun color combo! My card base is really rust layered with a piece of embossed whisper white. The side panel is really rust, bashful blue and dp from a mat stack. My focal image is called luminous sun. I not really sure where it came from! I colored my stamp with pumpkin pie and really rust. The center is from my stash! Well it's short and sweet tonight! See you in the morning!

Happy Birthday Girl Friend !

Happy Birthday Girl Friend !!

This is officially my friends PURPLE birthday! She turns 60 ! This lady, and I mean the epitome of the word lady, is very classy! She is a professional in every aspect of the word! We are having a surprise birthday party for her today. The big surprise is this lady is my sister! We are here in her little town and she doesn't even know it! I call her every Sat. morning, only difference is I was just a few miles away when I talked to her today!My lil sis and nieces planned this little soiree! She REALLY hates surprises! Gotcha Terri!

This card was really fun to make with her in mind! These lovely ladies are from The Oldies collection over at Art Impressions. They have a variety of these that are just to funny! I dressed the ladies with Prisma color pencils and oms. I tattooed and pierced, that's what the oldies look like now! I added my own sentiment " I hear she's 60" . I can hardly wait till the surprise party!

Good Morning All!

It's Friday! Well it's your Friday! My Friday is Saturday! It has been a really long week. Just plain hot! Sigh....Takes all your Mojo away! I just want to sleep! I'm not about to complain though! LOL! Everything is lush and green! We have had some awesome thunderstorms!

My card today is a pretty simple one. I used a set from Verve called Beautiful You. I simply stamped the sentiment on whisper white with melon mombo. I added a little DP from Thoroughly Modern and cut out the flower on bermuda bay. Wish they would release the bermuda bay ink pad! Add a few brads just for good measure and there you have it! It almost classifies as a CAS card!

Good Morning All!!

Another beautiful sunny day here in North Idaho. We really enjoy summer here, it's so short we soak it in as long as we can! I have to say, I'm enjoying this blogging thing! Never thought I would!! Yes I've had a few frustrations but for the most part it has been really fun!

I felt the need to use this DP from Autumn Traditions. I love all the leaves on it! It screams fall card! My card base is crushed curry, layered with whisper white and soft suede. My stamped images come from Fall Wimsy and Scene in a Garden. I thought they went together very nicely! I punched the leaves with a Martha Stuart punch! All in all I really like the card! What do you think?

Good Morning!

Boy am I glad yesterday is gone and over with! You might have stopped by for a visit while I had my blog all messed up! I did things I shouldn't have!! I think it's all better now!! I was really scared there for awhile ! I even called my little sis for help! Of coarse she had the answers! Thanks Carol!

Well onto my card... The card today was made with SU Enjoy Every Moment. This set really is versatile, it can be used for so many occasions! Anyhoo .... this card began with a real red base. I then layered with whisper white and basic black! The DP came from a matt stack. A few corner punches and a button or two and there ya go! If you haven't noticed there is NO rich razzelberry on my last few cards ! ROTFLOL !!!

Good Morning!

How is everyone today? All here is good. The weather is really warm and it is defiantly the dog days of summer! I can't believe we are in the last week of July! Time really flies!!

My card today is for the color challenge on Stamp TV . The challenge was actually yesterday! We are challenged to use green and pink together on a card. I decided to go bright! I used Pink Passion and Green Galore.
The card itself is pretty simple! Pink Passion card base, layered Green Galore & Whisper White. Stamped with Su's Polka Dots & Paisley. This set is from 2007 but I still like it! I made the card with my 12yr.old granddaughter in mind. She recently moved about 6hrs away. I really miss her, she used to come once a week and build cards with me! Now we send them back and forth! I'd rather have her here!! Well I'm off to work !

Lovely Lines

Good Morning!

Today is my Friday!! As a rule I only work 1/2 a day on Saturday. Hopefully that will be the case today! It has been so warm it zaps the energy right out of me! LOL!

This is my submission for the STVSC 22 . The card is 71/2 x 4. I used Soft Suede as my card base. I then layered with Whisper White, Ruby Red and DP from Autumn Traditions. Instead of stamping an image I used Lovely Lines rub-ons. I cut my circle with nestabilities. I had no idea where this card was going when I started it , but I like how it turned out!

Good Morning!

I hope everyone's day is going to be a bright and cheery one! Looks like we will have another hot one! I'm not complaining mind you, our summers are way to short..
My card today is for the SCS sketch challenge. I'm not sure I like it so much.... Ever have one of those cards? Seems everything I do has Rich Razzelberry on it lately! LOL! This card starts with an Old Olive card base, layered with Whisper White, Rich Razzelberry ,the DP is from Cottage Walls. The images are stamped from a hostess level 3 set called Flower Lines. I think it's the Old Olive I don't like! Should have been Always Artichoke !! :(

Razzelberry Case

Hope everyone is enjoying the heat! It was 101 here today. Way to hot for me. It's supposed to get even hotter through the weekend! OMGosh!!

My card today is a case! I found my inspiration card here on splitcoasters. Mostly I used the layout ,I changed the colors up a bit! I love how it turned out. There is no stamping on this card! LOL!! The card itself was pretty simple! Pretty much cut and paste!

Medallion Christmas Card

Good Morning !

We are going to have temperatures in the triple digits today. It would be a great day to stay in and stamp, if I didn't have to work. But if I didn't work I couldn't stamp ! I have been having the itch to make some Christmas cards. So here is my first! I love this new Medallion stamp! It has endless possibilities! I embossed this one with silver EB , added a border and small sentiment. Waalaw!! :) I think it would pass as a cas card, what do you think?
